High Altitude Balloon that returns home

I have a long standing aim to build a High Altitude Autonomous Balloon with robotic control for temperature, GPS, pressure, UV but in my searching for information I found these guys http://www.gpsboomerang.com/ who have done it already and with the added awesomeness (I said it so yes, it is a word) of suspending an autopiloted glider. How cool is that?
