This lesson is an introduction to Tinkercad, a free entry-level 3D modelling software. It explains the basic tools for building shapes and understanding three dimensional modelling. Explaining each of the tools methodically, the lesson engages pupils with each step to build their own simple and printable cookie cutter.
This pack contains a teacher's guide, lesson plan, presentation, instruction sheets, exercise sheets and equipment list. You will need a 3D printer with SD card, PLA Filament, computer, Access to TinkerCAD software (free).
