Tutorial Kit Seven, Eight, Nine
So, like so many out there you're wanting to get started with Arduino or you've been tinkering for a while but would like an easy way to learn what's needed and eliminate the frustration often associated with the process. Well, we have what could be the most perfect answer to that wish...
MindKits kit review guy John Boxall has written a start to finish set of guides which will inject the perfect dose of Arduino fun along with just the right amount of world changing knowledge which gives you everything you need to build your own projects with the confidence of a trained professional.
Just think of these guides as Neo learning Kung Fu via knowledge download with his Matrix style chair and brain piercing needle. Well, this is just like that but with less brain piercing....and no alternate reality plot twist. The reality is that these guides take you through what you need to know about tinkering with Arduino and without the frustration. So, check out this link to the tutorial kits and you can follow along and you'll be pumping Arduino knowledge into your brain before you can say 'Really? Tim from MindKits used a Matrix analogy? That's so last decade.'
Tutorial Kit 7-9 Contents:
Important: We aim to keep each kit under $50NZD and each kit build upon the contents of the previous kit for each tutorial. So if the previous tutorial already has an LCD for example, it won't be included in this kit.
Tutorial 7:
1x Realtime Clock Module (with battery)
4x Hook-up Wire Spools - Red, Black, White, Yellow
1x Wire Strippers (and Cutters)
Tutorial 8:
1x 8x8 LED matrix (Dual Colour)
8x 560Ohm Resistors
8x 1K Ohm Resistors
Tutorial 9:
1x Potentiometer Knob
MindKits Arduino Tutorials
Pick up all the needed kit for each tutorial here and make learning Arduino fun and stress free. The kits have everything needed for each tutorial but leave out anything in the kits for previous tutorials. This means you'll never have to buy something twice and always have just what you need to make your way through the tutorial (we do pop a few extra resistors in there though as they're always handy). Remember, you can pick up most items on MindKits if you want to skip a tutorial too.
