    Introducing ‘The DryBox’ version 2 for Ultimaker 3; a hassle free solution for protecting and preserving your filament in optimal condition, even while printing.

    Ultimaker recommend that all PVA filament be stored in a drybox when not in use. When it gets wet, the nozzle gets clogged and the PVA is no longer useable. Very frustrating. It can be a pain to have to unload the printer each time you finish printing just to store the PVA. The DryBox is mounted to the back of your Ultimaker and connects directly to the feeder, meaning you can still print with PVA, even on the wettest days.

    The desiccant volume is correctly measured and matched to the container volume.

    To recover wet descent you can fan bake in the oven on a tinfoil covered tray at 180* for about 30 mins (just keen an eye on it). Orange is reset colour, green is 50% wet and dark blue %70 (no longer effective).
