    New: Bambu Lab H3C

Bambu Lab H3C Combo: Tool Changer. Game Changer.

Bambu Lab's first tool changer puts nine PrintTools, each with its own filament path and heater, inside one enclosed printer. Switch materials in as little as 6 seconds, print soft TPU up to 3× faster, mix nozzle sizes in a single job, and keep all nine spools sealed and dry in the included AMS 3H.

    9-material printing, low purge

Nine independent filament paths mean almost no purge waste between colours or materials: as little as 0.038 g per switch*.

Soft TPU, up to 3× faster

The FlexFeed extruder runs 2.85 mm TPU as soft as 75A at up to three times the flow rate of a conventional 1.75 mm setup*.

    Everything enclosed

The AMS 3H keeps nine spools sealed and auto-loading inside the machine, with a two-slot 85 °C dryer.

    More than printing

Add optional CraftTools and the H3C can cut, draw and deboss in the same job, switching tools on its own.

    Swaptek™ tool changing

    Nine PrintTools, Six-Second Switches

Every PrintTool has its own filament path and heating system, so each material stays loaded, pre-heated and ready. There is no retracting one filament before loading the next: a tool change takes 3.4 seconds and a full material switch as little as 6 seconds*. Multi-colour and multi-material prints finish sooner and waste far less filament.

    Active Pre-Heat

The Next Nozzle Is Hot Before It Is Needed

Active Pre-Heat looks ahead to the next tool change and warms the incoming nozzle while the current one is still printing, so the new material starts laying down within seconds instead of waiting for a heat-up.

Full Colour From a Handful of Spools

With five PrintTools loaded with Bambu PLA Palette CMYKW, the H3C blends colours through layered deposition to produce a huge range of shades without a spool for every colour. Fast tool switching is what makes this practical: vibrant, full-colour figurines and art pieces with fine detail.*

Floral Frame: CMYKW colour mixing, water-soluble PVA supports, PLA Silk and Wood in one print
    FlexFeed extruder

Soft TPU, Up to 3× Faster

Flexible filament buckles easily, which is why soft TPU normally prints slowly. FlexFeed handles both 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm filament, and the stiffer 2.85 mm TPU resists buckling and pushes through at far higher flow. A cam-driven mechanism with a PMSM motor keeps tension precise. The result: TPU as soft as 75A at up to three times the flow rate of earlier printers*. The H3C ships with one 2.85 mm PrintTool fitted in slot 8, the dryer slot.

BounceBerry X Trainer: 75A TPU upper and high-rebound midsole, printed in one job
    Mixed nozzle sizes

Detail Where It Matters, Speed Everywhere Else

A 0.2 mm nozzle holds fine detail but is slow; a 0.4 mm nozzle is quick but smooths detail away. The H3C can carry different nozzle sizes at the same time, and Bambu Studio's mixed-diameter toolpath planning lets each nozzle print at the layer height that suits it. Bambu Lab's Maker Watch prints dial, case and soft band as one piece*.

    Retractable rack

A Clear View of Every Layer

When it is not changing tools, the PrintTool rack retracts out of view, giving you a clear look into the chamber so you can watch the first layer go down.

    Print. Cut. Draw. Deboss.

Swaptek is not limited to PrintTools. Optional CraftTools (CutTool, DrawTool, DebossTool and more to come) mount the same way and switch automatically, so multi-process projects no longer need several machines or manual swaps. CraftTools are sold separately.

AMS 3H: Filament Management Built for a Tool Changer

The included AMS 3H sits on top of the printer and keeps every spool sealed against moisture, feeding each one automatically to its own PrintTool.

    Auto loading

Push It In. That Is It.

Drop filament into any of the nine slots and the AMS 3H detects it, routes it and engages it with its PrintTool on its own. RFID reads Bambu Lab spools automatically.

    Built-in dryer

    Dries While You Print

A two-slot dryer reaches 85 °C*, enough for engineering materials such as PA, PC and carbon-fibre-filled filaments, and selected filaments can be dried mid-print*. Temperature and humidity show on the printer, in Bambu Studio and in Bambu Handy.

Bambu Lab AMS 3H built-in 85 degree filament dryer
    Auxiliary AMS

Nine Materials, With Room for More

Already own an AMS? Connect existing Bambu Lab AMS units through PrintTool No. 1 to run up to 24 spools in a single print*, for even more colours and materials. Compatible units such as the AMS 2 Pro are sold separately.

Bambu Lab H3C connecting auxiliary AMS units for up to 24 filament spools
    Integrated design

    One Machine, One Footprint

No spools hanging off the side and no separate dryer on the bench. Storage, drying and feeding are built in, so the H3C keeps a footprint comparable to a single-nozzle printer.

Bambu Lab AMS 3H fully enclosed sealed filament storage on top of the H3C

    Flagship Performance, No Compromise

    Lighter motion system

    Faster Prints, Same Precision

The toolhead and X-axis assembly are 40% lighter than the H2D's*, cutting inertia for faster, cleaner movement: up to 25,000 mm/s² acceleration and 1,400 mm/s travel speed while keeping ringing in check.

Bambu Lab H3C lightweight toolhead and X-axis motion system
    350 °C and 65 °C chamber

    Ready for Engineering Materials

All nine hardened steel nozzles reach 350 °C, and active dual-zone chamber heating up to 65 °C helps minimise warping with ABS, PC, PA-CF, PET-CF and more. H11 HEPA and activated carbon filtration help keep fumes in check.

Bambu Lab H3C 65 degree active chamber heating for engineering filaments
    Cross-flow cooling

    Cooled at Every Level

A CFD-optimised part cooling fan and dual auxiliary fans keep overhangs and bridges clean at speed, a dedicated PrintTool fan holds thermal stability through frequent tool changes, and a chamber fan draws in cooler air.

Bambu Lab H3C cross-flow cooling with part and auxiliary cooling fans
    Optional Vision Encoder

    Accuracy That Lasts

For precision parts and production runs, the optional Vision Encoder gives an absolute optical reference so the H3C can recalibrate for wear and drift, restoring motion accuracy to under 50 µm across the build volume.

Bambu Lab H3C optional Vision Encoder calibration for 50 micron motion accuracy

More Time Making, Less Time Tinkering

    Full auto calibration

    Nine Tools, Aligned Every Time

Before every print the H3C handles PrintTool docking calibration, tool offset compensation and bed levelling automatically, so colours and materials line up without manual tuning.

Bambu Lab H3C full auto calibration of nine PrintTools and bed levelling
    AI monitoring

It Watches, So You Do Not Have To

Built-in cameras check the chamber against your slicer setup before the first layer, then AI watches for spaghetti, purge-bin jams and clogs during the print. Check in from Bambu Handy whenever you like.

    Common Questions

    • Do I need anything else to start printing? Only filament. The H3C Combo includes the AMS 3H, eight 1.75 mm PrintTools, one 2.85 mm PrintTool and a Textured PEI plate. Shop 1.75 mm filament.
    • Are the nozzles really hardened steel? Yes. Every H3C nozzle from 0.2 mm to 0.8 mm is fully hardened steel (HRC 55+), built for abrasive carbon fibre and glass fibre filaments.
    • What is the 2.85 mm PrintTool for? It is for 2.85 mm flexible filament only, such as Bambu TPU 75A (2.85 mm). It comes pre-installed in slot 8, the dryer slot, because TPU absorbs moisture easily. The 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm PrintTools use different bases, hotends and cutters and are not interchangeable.
    • Why only two drying slots? Drying two slots at a time balances drying performance, safety and power draw. Plan ahead by putting the filament you will use next, or anything that needs drying mid-print, in the two drying slots.
    • Can I use my existing AMS? Yes. Previous-generation Bambu Lab AMS units connect through PrintTool No. 1 for up to 24 spools in one print. The AMS 2 Pro is sold separately.
    • How much room does it need? Allow 593 × 1056 × 1306 mm: 385 mm in front for the door, 50 mm each side, 100 mm behind and 290 mm above for the AMS lid. Bambu Lab recommends the floor or a low, stable surface.
    • Can it cut and draw too? Yes, with optional CraftTools. Bambu Lab offers a Crafting Upgrade Kit, a CutTool Fine-Blade Set and a DrawTool Set (each needs a cutting mat). The optional BirdsEye camera gives smoother camera-based alignment for surface work.
    • H3C or H2C? Both have a 330 × 320 × 325 mm build volume. Choose the H3C for nine independent PrintTools, fast low-waste switching, 2.85 mm TPU and fully enclosed filament storage. The H2C Combo remains a strong option for multi-material printing and laser-ready workflows.
