How Pixel Points work

Pixel Points are a simple rewards system for MindKits machine owners who choose Pixel Filament. Here’s what the journey from checkout to redemption looks like.

Checkout & pay

Complete payment on your order. Pixel Points for that order are added to your account as pending once payment is confirmed.

Step 3

Points activate on shipping

When your order ships, the pending points become active. Only active points are available to redeem.

Step 4

Redeem within 6 months

Use any amount of active points at checkout to take money off your total. Unused points expire 6 months after activation.

Who can earn Pixel Points?

Pixel Points are a thank you to MindKits machine owners who keep coming back for Pixel Filament. To start earning, you need:

A MindKits account.
To have previously bought a 3D printer or machine from MindKits.
To be logged in when purchasing Pixel Filament.

Guests and customers who have not purchased a machine from MindKits can still buy Pixel Filament, but they will not earn Pixel Points.

If you have bought a machine from us, but your account is not showing that you're a Pixel Points member get in contact and we'll get it sorted!

Pixel Points are only earned on Pixel Filament.
Other items in your cart, including machines, accessories, services or shipping, do not earn points.

Keeping your points fair

Orders change sometimes. When they do, Pixel Points adjust with them so your balance always reflects what you have actually kept.

If an order is cancelled or refunded

Any Pixel Points earned from that order will be removed or adjusted. This includes orders where the points had only been added as pending.

If you used Pixel Points to pay

When you use points to pay for part of an order that is later cancelled or refunded, those points are adjusted or returned to match the final order value.

Pixel Points FAQ

Pixel Points can be earned by customers who have a MindKits account, have previously bought a machine from MindKits, and are logged in when purchasing Pixel Filament.

Pixel Points are only earned on Pixel Filament products. Other items in your cart, including machines, accessories, services or shipping, do not earn Pixel Points.

When you are logged in and have active points, your Pixel Points balance appears at checkout. Choose how many points to apply and their dollar value will be taken off your order total. If you do not have enough points to cover the full amount, they simply reduce your total and you pay the rest as usual.

Pixel Points are added as pending once your order is fully paid. They become active after your order has shipped. Only active points can be redeemed on future orders.

Yes. Pixel Points are valid for 6 months from the date they become active. After that, any unused points automatically expire and are removed from your balance.

If you cancel or return an order that earned Pixel Points, those points will be removed or adjusted. If you used Pixel Points to pay for part of an order that is later cancelled or refunded, those points will be adjusted or returned based on the final order value.

Yes. Active Pixel Points can be used toward any product in the MindKits online store. If your points do not cover the full amount, they reduce your total and you simply pay the remaining balance.
