    Multi-Material Printing with Minimal Purge Waste

    In traditional single-nozzle multi-material printing, purging is needed to clear leftover material between filament changes.Vortek changes that with an intelligent hotend-swapping system that replaces the entire hotend — delivering faster, cleaner prints with minimal waste.

    8-Second Induction Heating

    Our industry-leading induction heating technology brings the nozzle to temperature in 8-sec, significantly reducing the preheating time for each material swap compared to traditional methods.

    Contactless Design For Reliability

    Our high standards for reliability led us to move away from contact-based metal pins, which are prone to oxidation and unstable connections.We developed a contactless solution that ensures a stable, high-frequency connection — the foundation for precise temperature control and intelligent hotend sync.

    Heatsink Overheat Monitoring

    Dual temperature sensors monitor both nozzle and heatsink temperatures in real time. When heatsink temperature exceeds safe limits, the system automatically increases cooling to prevent heat creep and reduce the risk of clogging.

    Intelligent Multi-Hotend Management

    Each Vortek Hotend stores its filament information locally, ensuring correct material mapping and preventing loading errors. When printing with more than seven filament types, the system intelligently optimizes hotend mapping to minimize purge waste and improve overall efficiency.

    1. If you print only single-color filament, we recommend using the Fixed Hotend (Induction Hotend) for printing.
    2. If you need multi-color printing with the AMS, connect the AMS to the right-side Fixed Hotend.
    3. If you want to use the second hotend for support-material printing, we recommend using the Liftable Hotend.
    4. TPU85A is only supported on the right-side Fixed Hotend. TPU95AHF/90A is expected to be supported on the left-side Liftable Hotend starting from firmware version U2.
    5. PET-CF / PPA-CF / PPS-CF are supported only on the left-side Liftable Hotend.
    6. CF/GF-reinforced filaments are not compatible with stainless steel nozzles.
