    Printing Tips

    • Bambu PLA Basic is extremely easy to print — great for beginners and high-volume printing alike.

    • Use the Cool Plate or Bambu Engineering Plate with a thin layer of liquid glue for best first-layer adhesion.

    • PLA is hygroscopic. If you notice poor surface finish or under-extrusion, dry at 50°C for 8 hours before printing.

    • Store in a sealed bag with desiccant between uses. Target humidity below 35% RH.

    • PLA Basic is biodegradable and plant-based — suitable for makers who prioritise sustainability.

    • Not suitable for high-temperature applications — PLA softens above 60°C.
