Shipping & Returns Policy

New Zealand Shipping

• Shipping Rates:
  Shipping is calculated based on the weight of your items. Rates start from $5.00 and increase to cover actual shipping costs. We always aim to charge the minimum necessary to cover these costs.
• Split Shipments:
  If your order includes both in-stock and Order-On-Demand items, you may choose to have your order split into two separate shipments. Additional shipping charges may apply.
• Delivery Times:
  • We use FreightWays for New Zealand deliveries.
  • Typical delivery times:
    • Auckland: Usually overnight
    • North Island: 1–2 business days
    • South Island: 3–4 business days
    • Rural addresses: Please allow extra time
    • Heavy or freight items: Move through a Freight network, so therefore will take longer as this is not a standard courier service.

Australian & International Shipping

• Australian Shipping:
  • Flat rate of $20 NZD per shipment.
  • For larger orders, we reserve the right to pass on additional freight charges. We will always notify you first, and you may cancel your order for a full refund if you’re not satisfied with the revised shipping cost.
• International Shipping:
  • We use standard International Air postage.
  • Orders are insured while in New Zealand. Once the order leaves New Zealand, carrier insurance does not apply unless arranged separately—please contact us if you require additional insurance.
  • International orders are shipped as a single delivery once all items are in stock. If you want items shipped separately, please place separate orders; each will incur its own shipping charge.
  • Some items (e.g., those containing mercury such as tilt sensors) cannot be shipped overseas due to restrictions.
  • All international packages include required customs documentation as per New Zealand law.
• Estimated Delivery Times:
  • Delivery times are targets only and may vary by destination.
  • Contact us if you wish to ship internationally.

Dispatch & Delivery

• We aim to dispatch your order within 2 business days of confirmation, unless otherwise specified for certain products.
• If dispatch is delayed, we will contact you with an updated timeframe.
• Orders may be dispatched in one or more installments. Non-delivery of one installment does not void the contract for delivered items. You may cancel any undelivered installments up until dispatch.
• Once your order is dispatched, our contractual obligation is fulfilled. Any delivery delays or loss claims must be addressed with the delivery provider, though we are happy to assist where possible.
• Delivery Instructions:
  You may specify delivery instructions (e.g., leave in a safe place). We are not responsible for orders delivered according to your instructions.

Returns Policy

• Goods supplied in accordance with your order can only be returned with our express approval.
• Please contact us before returning any item so we can assist you and provide return instructions.

• All delivery times are estimates and provided in good faith. We are not liable for any loss, expense, or damage caused by delivery delays.
