AMS LITE — HOW IT WORKS

Automatic Material Switching

Up to 4 filament spools, switched without pausing

The AMS lite feeds filament from up to 4 separate spools and switches between them automatically as your print progresses. Bambu Studio handles all the slicing — assign colours to model parts, and the printer does the rest. Filament changes happen mid-print without any manual intervention.

SERVO EXTRUDER

Closed-Loop Precision at 500 mm/s

PMSM servo motor for consistent, accurate extrusion

The A2L uses a closed-loop Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) servo extruder — the same technology found in Bambu's flagship printers. Real-time extrusion monitoring ensures every filament change during multi-colour printing is precise, with no blobs, gaps, or under-extrusion artefacts.
