Four-colour printing for Bambu Lab A-series printers
The Bambu Lab AMS lite automatically switches between up to four loaded filaments for multi-colour and multi-material printing. It also supports automatic filament backup, so a compatible replacement spool can take over when the current spool runs out.
Designed for the A series
AMS lite is compatible with Bambu Lab A-series printers, including A1, A1 mini and A2-series models. Each printer supports one AMS lite. It is not compatible with X, P or H2-series printers.

- Filament diameter: 1.75 mm
- Spool width: 40–68 mm
- Spool inner diameter: 53–58 mm
Soft, wet, brittle or highly abrasive filament can cause feeding errors or accelerated wear. TPU, TPE, wet PVA/BVOH and the fibre-filled materials listed as unsupported by Bambu Lab should not be loaded through AMS lite.
Simple setup and maintenance
The supplied stand, four rotary spool holders, PTFE tubes and 4-pin bus cable provide the core hardware for installation. Follow Bambu Lab's current quick-start and filament guidance for loading, placement and compatible materials.
