Here's a call I take most weeks. Someone's Bambu Lab has stopped printing properly, they've worked out roughly which bit has died, and then they've gone looking for the part and found themselves staring down a three week wait from overseas. Meanwhile the printer sits in the corner doing nothing, which is the worst kind of printer.
So this post is mostly a public service announcement: we hold Bambu Lab spare parts here in Auckland, and it goes a lot deeper than nozzles.
What we actually stock
Hotend heating assemblies, hotends with hardened and tungsten carbide nozzles, nozzle offset calibration sensors, MC and TH boards, AMS feeder units and support shafts, filament buffers, PTFE tubes, heatbed surface magnets, anti vibration feet, chamber LEDs, wiping pads, accessory boxes, scrapers. The unsexy stuff. The stuff that actually wears out or cooks itself.
Some real prices, GST included, so you can see it's not silly money: the hotend heating assembly for the A2L is $69. A nozzle offset calibration sensor is $41.40. The hotend with the tungsten carbide 0.6mm nozzle, which is the one you want if you're running carbon fibre filled filament all day, is $138. A box of five nozzle wiping pads for the H2 series is $14.61. An X1 series MC board is $160, and the heatbed surface magnet for X1 and P1 machines is $59.16.
That board photo is the one that surprises people. They assume electronics means a warranty claim and a long wait. Sometimes it does, and if the machine's still in warranty talk to us first, don't buy a board. But if you're out of warranty on a two year old X1 and the choice is $160 and a screwdriver versus a new printer, that's an easy call.
The honest catch
We can't hold every part for every model. There are hundreds of line items across the A, P, X and H series plus the AMS units, and some of the rarer ones come in on our next Bambu shipment rather than sitting on the shelf. If you're mid job and stuck, ring us before you order and we'll tell you straight: on the shelf, or a week or two out. No point us pretending.
