    Ready in minutes

Out of the Box and Printing in About 15 Minutes

The A1 Mini arrives fully assembled and factory tuned. Unpack it, fit the spool holder and purge wiper, connect to Wi-Fi and it is ready. There is no frame to build and no belts to tension, which makes it a great first printer for home, school or the office.

    Full auto calibration

    No Manual Levelling. Ever.

Before every print the A1 Mini automatically calibrates Z-offset, bed levelling, vibration resonance and nozzle pressure. You get a clean first layer without fiddling with paper and knobs, so more prints succeed first time.

    Active flow rate compensation

Smooth, Accurate Extrusion at Every Corner

An eddy current sensor in the toolhead measures nozzle pressure and works out the flow calibration automatically. Bambu Lab's Active Flow Rate Compensation then adjusts extrusion in real time, so corners stay crisp and walls stay even, even at speed.

    High-speed precision

Fast Prints That Still Look Great

Full-metal linear rails, a rigid frame, accelerometers and Bambu Lab's motion control let the A1 Mini reach 500 mm/s toolhead speed and 10,000 mm/s² acceleration. A speed Benchy takes about 14 minutes, with detail fine enough to print parts that click into real LEGO® bricks.

    Under 48 dB

Quiet Enough for the Lounge or Classroom

Active Motor Noise Cancelling tunes each motor individually, and silent mode brings the A1 Mini down to under 48 dB. Print in a shared space without the usual 3D printer whine.

    Comprehensive monitoring

    Sensors That Catch Problems Early

Filament runout and tangle sensors, a nozzle pressure sensor and two filament odometers work together to spot runouts, tangles and air printing. Power loss recovery resumes a job after an outage, and the built-in camera lets you check progress and record timelapses.

    Quick swap nozzle

Change Nozzles in Seconds, No Tools

The hotend pops in and out with a single clip. Swap between 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 mm nozzles for fine detail or fast draft prints, and service the printer yourself in minutes.

    Common Questions

    • Is 180 mm big enough? For most hobby, home and classroom projects, yes. Larger designs can be split into parts and joined, which also wastes less filament if a print fails. If you regularly print bigger parts, look at the A1.
    • What filament should I use? PLA and PETG are ideal and cover most projects. TPU and PVA also work. Shop 1.75 mm filament.
    • Can I add colour later? Yes. The A1 Mini works with the AMS lite, but buying the Combo is the better-value way to get it.
    • Does it need an enclosure? No. The A1 Mini is an open-frame printer designed for PLA, PETG and TPU. For ABS, ASA or engineering filaments, an enclosed Bambu Lab P or X series printer is the better choice.
