We asked ourselves that question this week. After 15+ years, what keeps people choosing MindKits, not just once, but again and again? I know this sounds like a case of "We Love Us" syndrome but I genuinely feel honoured that we have customers who have come back to us for year upon year through their journey from Arduino, to ESP32's and now to 3D Printing. As chief Ninja, I love it.
Turns out the answer isn't really just about the products. It's about the moments that happen around them.

Nathalie and the five-star training session
Nathalie came in for a Bambu P1S and some one-on-one training with Jase. She's a teacher, so getting it right for her students mattered. She left us a five-star review saying "excellent training from Jase."
That one made our week. When a teacher walks away confident enough to bring a new tool into the classroom, that's the whole point.

Matthew, the right printer, and a surprise in the box
Matthew was trying to find the right machine. Angus pointed him toward a P1S, talked him through why it made sense for what he was after, and Matthew ordered one.
When it arrived, there was a handwritten note inside. And a free roll of filament.
That wasn't a policy. Nobody told anyone to do that. It's just what the team does when they reckon someone's going to love their new machine. Matthew noticed, and we're glad he did.

Stefan and the spare parts that were actually in stock
Stefan's Bambu needed spare parts. He came in, we had them, and he was sorted on the spot. Simple as that, but not always easy to find.
Carrying the right parts, stocked and ready, isn't glamorous. But it's the kind of thing that makes or breaks someone's day when their machine is down.
15+ years, and this is still the best part
Schools, small businesses, hobbyists, the person doing cosplay armour panels: we love all of it. The conversations, the problem-solving, the moments when someone figures out what they're trying to make.
If you've bought from us and had a good run, a Google review means the world to us. It helps other Kiwis find their way here. And if you're still looking for your first machine, come have a chat.
